Race Licences at Pheasant Wood
If you are looking to obtain your racing licence, you will be required to sit your OLT (Observed Licence Test). As Pheasant Wood's official partner, RaceAway is sanctioned to provide OLTs for AASA or Motorsport Australia.
Completing an OLT successfully demonstrates your fundamental understanding and ability to handle a vehicle at high speed while maintaining your safety and that of others. You can complete your OLT in your own racecar or one of our hireable racecars.
Purpose: Obtain AASA or Motorsport Australia license
Process: Observed Licence Test during track days
Options: Use your own race car or hire one

The circuit provides the perfect environment for training, with high visibility for our coaches and drivers thanks to multiple viewing platforms. Drivers can safely pull into pit lane, making coaching seamless as they do not need to exit or turn off the vehicle for pointers. This setup allows for real-time feedback and continuous improvement during sessions.
Many professional racers have begun their careers with us at Pheasant Wood Circuit and have gone on to stand on the podium at Bathurst Mount Panorama.
