TRACK DAYS AT PHEASANT WOOD CIRCUIT

RaceAway Track Time delivers professionally run NSW track days at Pheasant Wood Circuit, located in the Southern Tablelands at Marulan, approximately 1.5 hours from Sydney or Canberra. Pheasant Wood Circuit is a 1.6km technical circuit featuring 9 corners, including NSW’s only two banked corners, making it an ideal track for driver development, car control, and refining racecraft.

Our track days focus on quality seat time in a supportive, well-managed environment, with open pit lane formats where possible. Race car hire, professional coaching, Observed Licence Tests (OLT), and event photography packages are available as optional add-ons, making these track days suitable for both first-time drivers and experienced participants.

Carports are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Drivers are required to wear long-sleeve clothing, long pants, and fully enclosed shoes, or approved race apparel. Helmets meeting Australian standards are mandatory, with hire available at select events.

Where are RaceAway Track Days Held?

Do I Need Prior Experience?

No. Our track days are suitable for first-time track drivers through to experienced participants. We offer morning track walks, group coaching, and optional one-on-one coaching to help drivers feel confident and supported on track.
Can I Hire a Racecar?

Yes. Race car hire is available as an add-on. Hiring a car is a great option if you don’t own a track-ready vehicle or want a hassle-free way to get on track. Availability is limited and should be booked in advance.
What Coaching Options are Available?

We offer free group coaching sessions as part of our track days, with one-on-one coaching available as an optional add-on. Coaching focuses on racing lines, braking technique, consistency, and car control.
What is an OLT (Observed License test)?

An Observed Licence Test (OLT) is required for a Motorsport Australia (CAMS) or AASA race licence. OLTs are available as an add-on. We strongly recommend booking coaching prior to attempting an OLT to give yourself the best chance of success. You will also need to have applied for your race license and completed a medical prior to booking the test.
What do I Wear to a Track Day?

Drivers must wear:

  • Long-sleeve shirt
  • Long pants
  • Fully enclosed shoes

OR approved race apparel.

A helmet meeting Australian standards is mandatory. Helmet hire is available for $35 at sign-on.
Is Timing Available?

Yes. Many of our track days include live Natsoft timing, allowing drivers to review laps and track improvement throughout the day.
Are Carports Available?

Yes. Carports are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved in advance.
What if it Rains?

Track days run in all weather conditions. Wet conditions can be a valuable learning experience and coaching continues as scheduled.
Are Spectators Allowed?

Yes! Spectators are welcome with multiple viewing platforms around the track, picnic area and large carports. Children must be accompanied by an adult and within reach at all times.
