Our commitment to safety, education, and the thrill of motorsport driving ensures that our participants are well-prepared and qualified for their Motorsport Australia racing licence. Whether you're a seasoned driver or new to the racing scene, our comprehensive programs and expert instructors are here to help you achieve your racing goals.
📌RaceAway is the official provider of OLT’s at Pheasant Wood Circuit.
An Observed Licence Test is integral to receiving your Motorsport Australia racing licence. The OLT is designed to assess your understanding and skills in maneuvering a vehicle at high speeds, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the track. During the test, our qualified Motorsport Australia-approved instructor will observe you under modified racing conditions at one of our upcoming Super Track Days.
You can complete your OLT in your own vehicle as long as it is a manual car, free of defects and has a passenger seat fitted. Please note that some cars are unsuitable (4X4, commercial vehicles, trucks etc) if you are unsure of the suitability of your vehicle please get in contact with us.
Please note: You will need to provide your pre-licence authority BEFORE your OLT - you cannot undertake an OLT without this form. This can be done through the Motorsport Australia website:

Achieving your national Motorsport Australia licence is a structured process that includes the successful completion of an OLT and participation in sanctioned racing events. To obtain your National Motorsport Australia Competition License, you must compete in three Motorsport Australia sanctioned events and have a steward sign off on your licence. These events typically include the NSW Production Touring or Australian Production Championships.
