Designed to keep racing costs low, the MX5 Car Cup showcases MX5 Racing Sydney and beyond. This series fosters a supportive environment, encouraging newcomers to improve their craft while experienced drivers enjoy competitive racing. Earn points across five classes, and vie for the overall championship.

Round 1: 8 February – Sydney Motorsport Park (GP Circuit)
Round 2: 5–6 April – One Raceway
Round 3: 16–17 May – Sydney Motorsport Park (GP Circuit) - Viola Private Wealth Sydney 300 (Friday Night Practice – Open Pit Lane – Sedans only)
Round 4: 20 July – Sydney Motorsport Park (GP Circuit)
Round 5: 16–17 August – One Raceway
Round 6: 17–18 October – Sydney Motorsport Park (GP Circuit) (Friday Night Practice – Open Pit Lane – Sedans only)
You can race in as few or as many rounds as you like. Our Arrive ‘n’ Drive offering simplifies your participation—just select your round, arrive at the track, and we’ll handle the rest.
What do you need?
License: Secure a Motorsport Australia License or AASA License (we can help).
Gear: You are required to have valid FIA approved racing apparel - suit, helmet, gloves, shoes, hans device. We also recommend bringing your GoPro.
