The Road To Bathurst program is the only packaged driver training program in Australia designed to take you from zero to hero at Bathurst. This year’s graduate Stephen Doorey has done just that completing the bulk of the program over 2022, finishing with an awesome run at Challenge Bathurst in November. Watching the way his driving has changed and flourished under the guidance of head coach Phil Alexander has been an absolute pleasure to watch. It speaks volumes that Doorey was fully prepped by the time he stepped onto Conrad Straight this year at the Bathurst 6 Hour, keeping pace with many experienced drivers on the tarmac.

“I started my RaceAway Road-To-Bathurst journey early in 2022, commencing the fulfilment of a lifelong dream to race at Bathurst.
As promised, RaceAway developed me from almost clueless “trackday hero” to calm, capable Bathurst racer in one year, competing successfully in the 2023 Bathurst 6-Hour.
RaceAway coached & pushed me through many significant level-ups during 2022.
RaceAway’s underpinning foundation of my development was to make me safe, fast & mentally prepared for high-speed, high-pressure Bathurst.
I was judged ready for the big level-up to pushing the RX8 Cup car hard at 2022 Challenge Bathurst.
RaceAway had me ready & I executed well.
This was one of the very best two days of my life.
I never wanted those 2022 Challenge Bathurst days to end.
I walked away from 2022 Challenge Bathurst craving more Bathurst & absolutely ready for the 2023 Bathurst 6-Hour.
Without 2022 Challenge Bathurst as a critical step in my Road-To-Bathurst program it would not have been like this.
