    About the Event

    Challenge Bathurst runs in a timed supersprint format at Mount Panorama.

    You’ll get multiple sessions across the weekend to learn the circuit, build pace and improve lap time in a structured environment.

    Expect:

    • Six 20-minute sessions across two days
    • Open format with minimal traffic
    • A strong mix of experienced drivers and first-timers
    • Ideal for learning the Mountain properly

    This is not wheel-to-wheel racing — it’s focused on seat time, consistency and driver development.

    Event Schedule

    Day 1 – Arrival
    Arrive at Bathurst, meet the team, complete sign-on and run through the weekend plan.

    Day 2 – On Track
    Drivers briefing followed by three timed sessions.

    Day 3 – On Track
    Three timed sessions followed by event presentation.

    Schedule subject to final event confirmation.

    Licence & Safety Requirements

    Drivers must hold a valid:

    • Motorsport Australia Speed Licence, or
    • Motorsport Australia Circuit Licence

    All drivers are required to wear full FIA-approved race gear, including:

    • Race suit
    • Helmet
    • Gloves
    • Racing shoes
    • HANS device (mandatory)

    Challenge Bathurst is an invite-only supersprint event held at Mount Panorama, offering structured track time across two days.

    The event runs in a timed format with six 20-minute sessions, giving drivers the opportunity to build confidence, improve consistency and maximise seat time on the Mountain.

    Sessions are controlled and grouped to maintain a safe, low-traffic environment, making it ideal for drivers looking to develop their skills at Bathurst.

    Drivers must hold a valid Motorsport Australia Speed or Circuit Licence to participate.
    Car Hire Information

    Car Hire is priced per driver, per vehicle.

    All vehicles are prepared and sanitised prior to use.

    All hire vehicles are manual transmission. Drivers must have adequate manual driving experience.

    Prepare For Your Day

    This is a Motorsport Australia–sanctioned event, and full race gear is required.

    All drivers must wear:

    All gear must meet current Motorsport Australia and FIA safety standards.

    Ts & Cs

    Challenge Bathurst operates in all weather conditions.

    In the unlikely event of cancellation or significant change, RaceAway Track Time will make reasonable efforts to contact participants via email, phone, SMS or social media.

    Cancellations and Transfers:

    • Refunds are not available.
    • Cancellations within 7 days of the event will result in forfeiture of all fees paid.
    • Refunds are not available for non-attendance.

    RaceAway Track Time reserves the right to modify event structure, session format or groupings to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
