Getting Started is Easier Than You Think

Your first day on track doesn’t require a race licence, race car, or years of experience. Our events are designed to be newcomer friendly and have a welcoming feel.

RaceAway track days start with a guided track walk - giving you an opportunity to learn the layout without the pressures of being behind the wheel. We also host a driver workshop to help you with your race craft during the day.

Many of our drivers start with a track day and quickly progress into car hire or racing events.

Every driver starts in a different place.

If you're unsure where to begin, the best first step is usually either:

• Track Day Entry > Drive your own car: Become part of a community and work at your own pace in your own vehicle!

• Arrive ‘n’ Drive > Car Hire, Coaching, Driver Assessment, Track Day Entry: Jump into a fully prepped race car with support through the entire day. Your coach will improve your racecraft AND provide you with a roadmap forward.

Do I Need a License

No. Track days and most experiences at Pheasant Wood Circuit only require a basic track day licence which can be purchased at the circuit.
Do I Need a Race Car

No. You can either bring your own car to a track day or hire one through our Arrive ‘n’ Drive packages. See track day entry for more details on eligible cars.

What Do I Wear?

Long sleeve shirt, long pants and enclosed shoes are required. Helmets meeting Australian standards are mandatory and can be hired at the track.
