Already have a car and a group of mates ready to race? Enter your own team through Pheasant Wood Circuit and enjoy one of the most accessible endurance race formats in the country.

The Deputy 4 Hour is ideal for teams wanting affordable racing, close competition and plenty of seat time across the season.

FAQ'S

What Licence Do I Need?

You’ll need a valid AASA, Motorsport Australia, or Pheasant Wood Circuit Event Licence to compete.

If you don’t already hold one, we can help guide you through the process. For Arrive ’n’ Drive drivers, an Observed Licence Test (OLT) can be completed during the included practice day to qualify for a Pheasant Wood Circuit Event Licence.

Licence cost: $125, paid directly to Pheasant Wood Circuit on the day.

What Gear Do I Need?

Full race attire is required:

  • Racing suit
  • FIA-approved helmet
  • Racing gloves
  • Racing shoes
  • HANS device recommended

Full safety requirements are outlined in the event Supplementary Regulations.

I haven’t raced before — can I still do this?

Yes. The Deputy 4 Hour is one of the best entry points into grassroots racing.

Many drivers come from track days, driver coaching and Arrive ’n’ Drive experiences. With support, structured practice and race day guidance, it’s a safe and exciting way to get started.

Can I enter my own car?

Yes. If your car meets the event regulations, you can enter directly through Pheasant Wood Circuit with your own team.

What if I don’t have a car or team?

That’s exactly what RaceAway’s Arrive ’n’ Drive package is for. We provide the car, crew, coaching and support so you can focus on driving.
