    Pheasant Wood Circuit – Open Pit Lane Track Day

    Jump on the tarmac and drive all day at Pheasant Wood Circuit with open pit lane running, live Natsoft timing, experienced coaches, and free passengers. Bring your own road or race car (registered or unregistered), or hire a race car onsite.

    First time on track? Start the day with a guided morning track walk led by our experienced staff to help you learn the racing line, braking points, and reference markers before heading out.

    • Minimum Age: 14 years (drivers and passengers)

      • Available on the day for $35 (one-day licence)

    Fuel and food are available within 2km of the circuit.

    Venue – Pheasant Wood Circuit

    Pheasant Wood Circuit is located near Marulan NSW in the Southern Tablelands, approximately 1.5 hours from Sydney or Canberra.

    • 1.6km technical circuit

    • 9 corners

    • NSW’s only two banked corners

    • Multiple spectator viewing areas

    • Spectator stand and picnic area

    • Vending machine onsite

    Spectators are welcome.

    Vehicle Requirements

    Driving Your Own Vehicle

    • Road or race car

    • Registered or unregistered

    • Remove all loose items from the vehicle

    • Check tyre pressures, oil, coolant, and fuel prior to arrival

    • Fuel available in Marulan (5 minutes from the circuit)

    Open wheelers must contact us prior to booking.

    Race Car Hire

    • Cars are sanitised prior to use

    • Arrival required by 8:00am for seat fitting and briefing

    • Manual transmission only – drivers must have manual driving experience

    • Car hire includes 5 × 20-minute sessions spread throughout the day

    • Pricing is per driver

    Observed Licence Tests (OLT)

    • OLTs run throughout the day

    • Your instructor will meet with you in the morning to explain the format

    • A completed OLT form must be emailed to info@raceawaytracktime.com.au

    Booking an OLT does not guarantee a pass.
    We strongly recommend booking 1-on-1 coaching prior to attempting an OLT.

    Apparel & Safety Requirements

    All drivers must wear:

    • Long-sleeve shirt

    • Long pants

    • Fully enclosed, thin-soled shoes

    OR full race apparel.

    Helmets must be:

    • FIA-approved OR

    • Australian Standard AS1698

    Helmet hire available for $35.

    Food & Drink

    • BYO food recommended

    • Marulan township (5 minutes away) has cafés and an IGA

    • Bring plenty of water – drinking water is not available onsite

    • Electrolytes are recommended

    • Vending machine available at the circuit

    Spectators

    • Spectators are welcome all day

    • Spectator stand and multiple viewing platforms

    • Picnic area with undercover seating

    • Children must be supervised at all times

    Pricing Notes

    • Prices are per vehicle

    • Maximum of two drivers per vehicle (select at booking)

    • Race car hire pricing is per driver

    Terms & Conditions

    RaceAway Track Time reserves the right to change to sessions running, if required to suit driver proficiency and ensure safety.

    Events run in all weather conditions. In the unlikely event of cancellation or change, participants will be contacted via email, phone, SMS, or Facebook.

    Cancellations & Transfers

    • Refunds are not available

    •  Transfers to another date are permitted if advised at least 7 days prior

    • Transfers must be used within 12 months of the original date

    • Cancellations after this period or non-attendance will result in forfeiture of all fees paid

    Event Overview & Licensing

    A minimum Track Day Licence is required to participate. One-day licences are available at the track for $35.

    We accept:

    • AASA Licences
    • Motorsport Australia Licences

    Track day structure, session format and driver groupings are determined by the circuit and RaceAway Track Time on the day to ensure safety and a high-quality experience for all participants.

    RaceAway reserves the right to adjust the format of the day based on driver proficiency and track requirements.
    Car Hire Information

    Car Hire is priced per driver, per vehicle.

    All vehicles are prepared and sanitised prior to use.

    Please arrive no later than 8:00am to allow time for vehicle briefing and driver fitment.

    All hire vehicles are manual transmission. Drivers must have adequate manual driving experience.

    Car hire packages include:

    • Five (5) x 20-minute sessions
    • Sessions are spaced throughout the day

    Session timing and structure may vary depending on the circuit and event format.
    Observed License Tests

    If you are completing an Observed Licence Test (OLT), please email a copy of your OLT form to:

    OLT assessments take place throughout the day. Your instructor will contact you during the morning briefing to confirm the assessment format and timing.

    Prepare For Your Day

    All participants must wear approved racing apparel OR wrist-to-neck-to-ankle fire-resistant clothing, which includes:

    • Long sleeve shirt
    • Long pants
    • Fully enclosed shoes

    Helmets must comply with minimum Australian Standard AS1698.

    Helmet hire is available for $35.

    Participants who do not meet clothing or helmet requirements will not be permitted on track.
    Food & Facilities

    Participants are encouraged to bring their own food. The town of Marulan is located approximately five minutes from the circuit and offers cafés and a well-equipped IGA.

    Please bring sufficient drinking water. Drinking water is not available onsite. We recommend bringing electrolytes to maintain hydration.

    A vending machine is available at the circuit.

    Spectators are welcome. Facilities include:

    • Spectator stand
    • Multiple viewing platforms
    • Picnic area with undercover seating

    Children must be supervised and remain within reach of an adult at all times.
    Ts & Cs

    Super Track Days operate in all weather conditions.

    In the unlikely event of cancellation or significant change, RaceAway Track Time will make reasonable efforts to contact participants via email, phone, SMS or social media.

    Cancellations and Transfers:

    • Refunds are not available.
    • Transfers to an alternative date may be arranged if requested at least 7 days prior to the event.
    • Cancellations within 7 days of the event will result in forfeiture of all fees paid.
    • Transfers must be completed within 12 months of the original booking date.
    • Refunds are not available for non-attendance.

    RaceAway Track Time reserves the right to modify event structure, session format or groupings to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
